Explore the City's Fourth of July activities
The Fourth of July holiday is just days away. For your planning purposes, we want to remind everyone that the City of Roseville is not hosting a fireworks celebration at Placer County Fairgrounds (The Grounds) this year as part of service reductions approved last year.

However, there are a number of fun activities planned throughout the day. Peruse this list to locate activities for you and your family. Please have a safe and happy holiday.

Run Crime Out Of Roseville! 5K/10K Fun Run/Walk
Please join the Roseville Crime Stoppers at Royer Park, 7:20 a.m. (10K) or 7:45 a.m. (5k) on the 4th of July, to kick off the 4th of July celebration with your family, neighbors, and friends. Originally founded to support anonymous tips, this fun-filled event has also expanded to raise funds to purchase specialized equipment used by local law enforcement, provide scholarships for youth and educate participants on crimes affecting the community.

Independence Day Parade
Come out for the return of the Independence Day parade! The parade begins at 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Riverside/Vernon/Douglas, continues along Vernon Street past the Civic Center, turns right on Lincoln Street before turning right again onto Park Drive. Be sure to arrive early to get your preferred viewing spot.

Royer Park Activities
Stay for the fun after the parade in Royer Park from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Enjoy the sounds of the Capitol Pops Concert Band, courtesy of Performing Arts of Roseville, while kids have fun with face painting, balloon artists, visiting the mobile library and taking photos with Captain America and Wonder Woman. No "bouncy houses" will be available. Food is available for purchase.
