After a highly competitive, open recruitment process, I’m pleased to announce that Laura Matteoli is our new Economic Development Director.
Laura has been working as the Acting Economic Development Director since February when 2/3 of the economic-development staff retired. She has led the understaffed department with tremendous expertise and vision, and developed a strong track record of results. She previously served as Roseville’s Economic Development Manager for 3 ½ years.
Laura was instrumental in bringing Topgolf, Quest Data Center, FedEx, the FBI regional headquarters and McKesson to Roseville. She’s served a pivotal role in fostering a successful business climate in Roseville to attract and cultivate job growth, manage capital investments, and help companies create, innovate, and grow.
She has more than 28 years of municipal planning, building, community development, economic development, housing and real estate experience in Roseville and Sacramento.
