It's that time of year to reset your clocks. Daylight Savings Time ends this at 2 a.m., Sunday, November 3. Remember to set your clock back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday. This is the time shift that most people enjoy because they get an extra hour to sleep.
According to the
Old Farmer's Almanac, Daylight Saving Time (DST) is the practice of moving the clocks forward one hour from Standard Time for the summer months and changing them back again in the fall. The general idea is that this allows us all to make better use of natural daylight.
Take this opportunity as you “Fall Back” on your clocks, to also perform your monthly check of your fire and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms in your home.
