from City Manager Dominick Casey
After a highly competitive recruitment process, I am pleased to announce Dion Louthan has been selected as our new Assistant City Manager.
Dion has worked for the City of Roseville for three years, serving as the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Director. He has more than 25 years of municipal experience, having worked for the cities of Henderson, Nevada, and Salina, Kansas, and the Hugoton Recreation Commission in Kansas, prior to joining our Roseville team.
Dion will begin his new role April 1, overseeing Human Resources, Information Technology and the City Clerk’s office. He will continue to support the Parks, Recreation & Libraries department for an interim period to wrap up a few key projects and help make the transition as smooth as possible for the next director.
Dion has played an important role in building strong relationships, both internally and externally. I believe these relationships with only help strengthen our culture and support the core competencies we truly value as an organization.
Dion’s experience and skill set will also help us drive positive change that allows our organization to become more nimble and adaptable. He’s smart, collaborative and instills trust in all his encounters, which will help him succeed in this new role.
He will initially focus on projects related to policy process improvement, technology growth management, and Roseville 101, and he will help identify ways to further develop our staff for future opportunities.
Dion will be a true asset to our executive team. Please join me in congratulating him!
