Announcing the 2019 Employee Summer Photo Contest
Here’s your opportunity to share your best images from your rockin’ summer adventures. If you traveled to Spain or New York City, the bayous of Louisiana, or the remote beaches of Antigua, please share your favorite pictures.

You don’t have to have travel far to capture a magic moment! The shot above is the winner from last year’s photo contest. It was shot by Natalie Rickman (RFD). She was exploring just to the north of San Francisco and spotted this fishing trawler passing through the fog of Bodega Bay.

All of the images will be reviewed by a group judges. The top images will be posted on the HUB, and one winner will walk away with bodacious bragging rights and an amazing HUB t-shirt! These shirts are coveted by collectors city-wide.

Take our judges and the City staff on a tour of your unique summer adventure. This is the third year that we’ve invited everyone to share their vacation pictures.

The contest closes at 5 p.m., Friday, September 13. Enclose your image as an attachment to the email and provide us with a short description of the picture – where you were, how you got there, who you were with. Anything that makes for fun storytelling. Submit your entries to [email protected].

Here are some more examples from last year’s contest:

Nyhavn Canal in Copenhagen, Denmark
Michelle Sheidenberger (City Attorney Office) tells us that "my teenage son took this photo of the famous Nyhavn Canal while we were walking through Copenhagen, Denmark last summer."

Brian Jacobson and Mona Lisa
This image comes to us courtesy of Brian Jacobson (Public Affairs and Communications) and his family. They spent a few relaxing afternoons in Europe last summer. At long last, we finally know why the Mona Lisa is smirking…

Good luck, and we hope you had fun in your travels!
