The City's Christmas tree was recently installed and decorated in front of the Civic Center to continue a Roseville holiday tradition that dates back many decades. In years past, the tree has been located in a couple of different locations. The current location is in Vernon Street Town Town Square, on the corner of Vernon and South Grant Streets. The tree is a White Fir from the Bruney Mountains, near Redding. Today’s tree is 40’ tall and weighs 1,400 lbs; the tree is 17 years old. The City's Urban Forester Michael Neumann counted the rings this morning when the crew set the tree. You can see the rings in the bottom photo.
