Please review and address these payroll reminders now, not at the end of the year:
- Address: Please make sure your current address is on file so that you will receive your W-2 and 1094-C in a timely manner in February. You can view and update your address in the payroll Employee Self Service section.
- Off without pay during the holiday closure week: If you choose to be off without pay during the holiday closure week which begins December 24th at noon through January 1st, please use the pay code “Off Without Pay Holiday Closure” as shown below. This will ensure that you will not miss your normal accruals of sick and vacation leave.
- Personal Leave Time: Personal leave time can be used until December 31st or it will be automatically cashed out. Verify hours are cashed out under the Pay Preview tab.
- Holiday: Holiday hours must be used by December 31st, unless your MOU has additional specific language. Any holiday hours left unused after that date will be automatically CLEARED by the system. To check to see if hours are being cleared view the Leave Balances tab. Click on “Show Detail.” If you see “Clear” and Pay Preview does not show a payoff for those hours, you are losing hours, see example below.
