ERP new look and feel delayed to June

Oracle was planning on updating ERP with a new “Look and Feel” upgrade and the city had a mandatory go-live scheduled for April 27th, 2020. This change would impact all employees with a new look and feel, however, there would be functionality impacts to Manager Self Service and department administrators. Given the COVID-19 struggles all organizations are faced with, Oracle has agreed to delay this change to June 2020.

City will cancel the demo sessions scheduled April 8th and 9th and testing April 13th thru April 22nd. As we monitor this situation more information will be forth coming in the coming months and we will reschedule testing and training sessions closer to go-live.




Starting April 27, when you log into ERP you will quickly notice a new color scheme and lay out. Oracle will continually make updates based on customer feedback, best practices and functionality and this update will be noticeable to all employees.

Here is what you need to know:

  • This update is focused on a new User Interface which changes the look and feel for a better user experience on your computer and mobile devices.
  • The Dashboard will have an updated look but with familiar information
  • Employee and Manager Self-Service will have a new layout and location
  • Manager Self-Service will have changes to navigation and functionality
  • The ERP Team will conduct demo of system changes April 8th and April 9th
  • Virtual testing window will be open April 13th thru April 22nd for department administrators, job aids will be provided
