Updated June 26, 2020

Thank you for taking the time to take the COVID-19: IT User Experience Telework Survey and providing your feedback. You’re contribution to providing feedback helps develop a baseline for improving future teleworking efforts, technology experiences, and enhancing staff experiences.

Both the survey results and feedback summary can be viewed on the Hub: IT User Experience Telework Survey Results & Feedback Summary. Below is a high level summary of the data and themes captured.

  • 181 total responses / 100 of those responses included written feedback.
  • With approximately 1,100 staff members across the City, 17% of them completed our survey.
  • 88% agreed that they felt they could perform their job duties at home the same as they would in the office.
  • Top two collaboration & useful tools from telework are: Microsoft Office365 & Microsoft Teams.
  • 94% of staff members are satisfied or very satisfied with the IT support they are receiving during this teleworking time. This is a testament to the support and services our department is providing and the time our staff (Digital First Responder) has dedicated to serving our customers.
  • Areas for improvement from general feedback included – 1) Communicating early & often, 2) More FAQ & Training on HUB, and 3) More City issued device/laptop for accessing work programs remotely.

This information will be used to develop a communication plan to provide information about collaboration tools and training on how and when to use them. IT is purchasing more devices to help employees throughout the City be well equipped in the future for teleworking.
